Well, the product description clearly states that it "Lifts cars, trucks, RVs, and SUVs up to 4000 lbs". Let's just say it didnt do so well with my 04 Buick Rendevous SUV. I guess I should have measured the height I needed first maybe, but when it said it will lift SUVs I believed it.
Unfortunately this jack only raises to 12 inches! The lowest point on the frame of my SUV is about 16 inches off the ground! I bought this so I wouldn't have to use the cheapo jack that came with the car when doing my brakes, but what a joke!
Also- when I opened the box 2 of the wheels were completely off (1 front and 1 rear) and the nuts and screws were bouncing around the box.
Lastly, the crank lever was either defective or an extremely poor design. You can rotate/ lift it maybe 8 inches off the ground, but it was only "catching" about 1/2 inch from the ground so it took about 75 pumps to raise the jack to full height.
Overall, I was HIGHLY dissapointed and returned the item promptly the next day.
