Strong, Compact and Complete August 28, 2010 RM I just came off the freeway, stopped for a quick look in nursery for veggies. Got on my bike and in less than 1 minutes latter I had a flat rear tire (my speed was not more than 25mph) on my bike (Honda VTX 1300). The Good Lord was looking after me! I have had bikes for over 4 years, but I did not have any tools, nor any flat tire fixes,to handle a flat, nor on bike nor at my house! I mainly rode around town on the weekends. What a chore it was to try to borrow a bicycle pump in a neighbor hood near my house. Fortunately home was 12 blocks away, and I drove back with what I thought I needed, just to get the bike home, the fix would come latter a a shop. I'm not going through this again, and so I looked around on the net and ordered, Slime, Slime Compact Tire Plug Kit, Co2 Air Cartridges, and a "Donor Hose". I'm glade to say I know I will have most of what I will need (more of God's intervention & the skill to fix a flat)if, and when the next flat hits. (God willing I won't happen again)

Slime Tire Plug Kit July 30, 2010 Robert Was stranded on my motorcycle in the boonies, and made a super quick repair with this kit and kept on going. Put about 600 miles post-repair on that tire before swapping for a new one. No issues whatsoever. Great product.
Not as advertised, not returnable. Sucks. July 9, 2010 William Elliott (Colorado) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The kit included one rasp, one needle tool, three plugs, and no knife. Also, Amazon treats this product as too hazardous to be returned. I hate false advertisement and will probably stay away from both Amazon and Slime products in the future.
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT OF ACTUAL PRODUCT July 8, 2010 Tommy Lee (Caly) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
***PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE PICTURE SEEN ABOVE IS NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ACTUAL PRODUCT!***
I just purchased this kit and received it from Amazon. The Slime 22038 product being shipped ONLY comes with the following:
7-Piece's: (3)-Repair Plugs, (1)-Glue, (1)-Reamer Attachment, (1)-Plugger Attachment, & (1)-T-Handle with Built-In Storage
The pictures Amazon is using to describe this product are for the OLD 'Deluxe Reamer Plugger with Storage Handle - #22038'
Slime has since replaced that product with the now 'Compact Tire Plug Kit - #22038'
I checked Slime's website for this product: [...]
If you check Slime's website, you can see the product picture has been updated to represent the new product (you're welcome ;P), however, the old description still exists.
This is nothing more than blatant false advertisement by both Amazon and Slime! Please be aware of what you will actually receive is you order this product!
Excellent . Been using them for years April 12, 2010 Marcus Killion 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These tar strips are great. I have used them for many years. Just pull out the nail or whatever gave you the flat put a tar strip in the insertion tool put on a little rubber cement and push it in the hole . Twist it and pull out the tool . lasts for years . No leaking .
I am a pro truck driver and I use them on my truck . I run in a lot of places that are full of nails and screws and use these at least once a week or more .
Pros: works fantastic. Seals permanently .
cons: there are none .
